Geographic features
Eagle Lake is the largest fresh water lake in Acadia National Park. At 436 acres, it has an average depth of 50 feet and a maximum depth of 110 feet. The lake is in a gorgeous setting surrounded by mountains with lush forests all around.
At 1,532 feet, Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park is the highest point along the North Atlantic seaboard and is the first place to view sunrise in the United States from October 7 through March 6.
This is the Jordan Pond. It is near Eagle Lake. It is famous, because of a nice restaurant were many enjoy eating and watching the water.
